Local hotel amenities brand creates global marketing and communications role

Producer of luxury hotel amenities products, Vanity Group, has promoted Naomi Rheinberger to global director of marketing and communications to lead the brand and growth of its portfolio.

Rheinberger joined the Australian group 18 months ago as marketing communications manager. In her new global role, she is responsible for setting the overall brand strategy, end-to-end marketing program and corporate communications for offices in Sydney, London, Dubai, Amsterdam and Shanghai. The newly created position has also been designed to spearhead expansion in the UK, Europe, USA and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Vanity Group, Rheinberger was responsible for public relations and communications for QT Hotels. His resume also includes communications roles with M&C Saatchi Australia and Zomato. At Vanity Group, she reports to CEO and Founder, Paul Tsalikis.

“I’ve described Vanity Group as a splash of color in a world full of beige since the time I met the CEO and founder nearly two years ago,” Rheinberger said. CMO. “Paul promised me a world full of travel, life-changing experiences and endless growth – he’s increased tenfold.”

Vanity Group produces a range of its own toiletries and hotel amenities, such as Appelles Apothecary and Lab, and works with other partners to activate their brands in the hotel space. The company was founded 11 years ago.

“The company is one of the most influential guest cosmetics suppliers in the world and operates like a creative agency – without ego or timesheets. The company fosters a unique culture that is proudly not afraid of failure and is filled with some of the sharpest minds I have ever encountered,” Rheinberger said. “I loved that Vanity Group was armed with everything from its own creative studio, new product development team, regulatory department, and even a retail arm.”

For Rheinberger, key attributes for success as a marketing leader include passion, curiosity, discipline, and self-awareness.

Rheinberger added that the organization is firmly focused on growth and wants to expand globally.
